Maxge E50-18D4G 180 kW DC EV Charger

The Maxge E50 is a DC fast charging station series offered in 60, 90, 120, 150, 180 and 240 kW versions, and the 180 kW version is the power rating listed for this model. The series operates over a charging voltage range of 200 to 1,000 Vdc. Each station has two CCS2 connectors, which can supply full power to one vehicle or share power between two vehicles through load balancing.

The E50 is designed for outdoor public, corporate, hotel, hospital, port, shopping centre and fleet sites. Its compact design does not require rear ventilation, so it can be installed against a wall or back to back. Ethernet and WiFi are included as standard, with optional 4G. Users can authenticate by RFID, QR code, password or an OCPP-compatible app, and an optional POS payment terminal is available. The series also supports dynamic power management and load balancing.

The stations include protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, short circuit, residual current and earth faults, plus an emergency stop button and CE certification. According to the manufacturer announcement, the series is rated IP55 and IK10 and uses internal CAN, RS485 and RS232 communication for supervision and integration with energy management systems.
