Huawei MERC-1100W-P Optimizer (Long Cable)

The Huawei MERC-1100W-P is a module-level power optimizer for commercial and industrial PV systems. Each unit is designed to connect to two modules in series, with a nominal input power of 1100 W. It is intended to increase energy yield by reducing losses from module mismatch and shading, and its wide MPPT range supports long strings.

The optimizer provides module-by-module monitoring through the Huawei FusionSolar platform, which supports diagnosis of anomalies. It includes a rapid shutdown function that lowers the output voltage to 1 V per optimizer during maintenance. The source lists a maximum input voltage of 125 V and a maximum short-circuit current of 20 A.

The unit has an IP68 protection rating and is stated to be compatible with Huawei commercial and industrial inverters. The source lists connection cables of 2.9 m or 5.1 m.
