Description
The BYD Battery-Box HVM+ is a modular lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) energy storage module with 2.76 kWh usable capacity per unit. It features a nominal voltage of 51.2 V and a maximum continuous charge/discharge current of 50 A, with peak output capability of 80 A for 15 seconds. The module is designed for flexible, scalable systems expandable up to 66.2 kWh maximum capacity.
Built with cobalt-free LFP chemistry, the HVM+ delivers over 95% round-trip efficiency and operates across a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. It incorporates patented internal plug connections for tool-free assembly, intelligent management with automatic SOC adjustment and remote OTA updates, and built-in cell balancing. Compatible with leading single-phase and three-phase inverters, the module supports on-grid, on-grid with backup, and off-grid applications.
The unit measures 987 × 610 × 282 mm and weighs 41.4 kg. Installation is floor-mounted for indoor or outdoor use (IP55 rated). All PLUS variant modules must be combined with other PLUS versions for proper operation; they are not compatible with legacy HVM or HVS non-PLUS series.
