SMA Energy Meter powered by ennexOS

SMA Energy Meter is an energy meter and data logger in one. This device optimizes communication, monitoring and control of solar panel, solar power storage systems and generators. This intuitive device makes configuration and commissioning of inverters much easier. It is suitable for 50 hertz and 60 hertz operations, for single and three-phase connections. It can be mounted on the switch or on the meter box.

Parameters of installations and inverters can be adjusted remotely thanks to the new Sunny Portal. The portal system is enabled by ennexOS and is free of charge when the energy meter is registered within the first 6 months after purchase.

The SMA Energy Meter also supports inverters from other manufacturers, as long as the inverters have the SunSpec Modbus/TCP interface. By the way, the EMETER-20 is compatible with the EMTER-30.
