GoodWe GW30K-MT-RS485 30kW Three-Phase String Inverter

The GoodWe GW30K-MT-RS485 is a 30kW three-phase string inverter designed for commercial rooftop solar installations with complex layouts. Part of the SMT series, it features three independent MPPT inputs with six DC input strings, enabling flexible system configurations and optimised performance in shaded or non-uniform installations.

The inverter delivers a maximum efficiency of 98.8% (European efficiency 98.5%) and operates at full rated power up to 45°C. It includes integrated DC and AC overvoltage protection (Type II), PV string monitoring, isolation detection, and anti-islanding protection. The unit supports RS485 communication (with optional WiFi/4G) for integration with GoodWe's Smart Energy Controller and monitoring systems.

Rated at 30kW nominal output with a maximum DC input voltage of 1100V and start-up voltage of 180V, the inverter is compact (480 × 590 × 200 mm) and weighs 40 kg, making installation straightforward. It comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty and is compatible with bifacial solar panels.
