EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Hybrid Inverter 12kW Three-Phase

The EcoFlow OCEAN 2 is a three-phase hybrid inverter designed for grid-tied and off-grid applications with integrated battery support. It features three independent MPPT trackers, each handling up to 8 kW of PV input, and supports up to 12 battery modules via CAN communication at 800 V nominal voltage.

With a rated AC output power of 12 kW and maximum apparent power of 13.2 kVA, the inverter delivers 97.8% peak efficiency and operates across a wide PV voltage range of 50–1000 V. It supports fast grid-to-off-grid and off-grid-to-grid switching (0 ms under specified conditions) and includes comprehensive protection: GFCI, AFCI, PV insulation detection, anti-islanding, reverse polarity, Type II surge protection, and emergency power-off functionality.

Rated for outdoor/indoor installation with IP66 ingress protection, the unit weighs 36.5 kg and measures 680 × 203 × 406.5 mm. It communicates via Bluetooth, WiFi, RS485, and CAN, with an LED and mobile app user interface. Operating range is −20 to 60 °C with derating above 40 °C.
