We've upgraded our account system for more secure login and to lay the groundwork for new ordering features and tools.
Instead of a password, you will now receive a one-time code via email each time you log in. This is just the first step — more improvements to your ordering experience are on the way.
What happened to my password?
Passwords are no longer used. You log in with your email address and a verification code sent to your inbox.
Will I lose my order history or saved addresses?
No. All your account data, order history, and saved addresses will be retained.
I'm not receiving the login code, what should I do?
Check your spam or junk email folder. If the code isn't there, please verify that you are using the same email address you originally registered with. Codes expire after a few minutes, so request a new one if necessary.
Can I continue to use the same email address?
Yes. Your email address remains the same — only the way you log in has changed.
Do I need to create a new account?
No. Your existing account is already set up and ready to use with the new login method.
Why do I need to use the same email address I originally registered with?
Your account, order history, and saved addresses are all linked to your original email address. If you try to log in with a different email address — even if you use it elsewhere — the system will treat it as a completely new account, and you won't see any of your previous orders or saved data. Not sure which email address you used? Check old order confirmations from us, or contact us at sales@search4solar.com, and we'll help you find it.
What if I no longer have access to my original email address?
If you no longer have access to the inbox associated with your account, you won't be able to receive the login code. Please send us an email from any address to sales@search4solar.com and include your name and any previous order numbers. We will help you transfer your account to a new email address.
Is this new login method secure?
Yes — it's even more secure than a password. Because a new code is sent to your email with each login, there is no stored password that can be guessed, reused, or leaked in a data breach. As long as your email account is secure, your account with us is too.
Can I stay logged in so I don't have to enter a code every time?
Yes. On trusted devices, you will typically remain logged in for a longer period, so you don't have to request a new code every time you visit. Please do not use this option on shared or public computers.
