Description
The GoodWe GW8000-ET-20 is a 3-phase hybrid inverter with 8kW nominal output power, designed for residential and small commercial PV systems. It features 2 MPPT trackers with up to 16A input current per string, a maximum efficiency of 98%, and integrated smart metering for energy management and load control.
The inverter supports a wide battery voltage range (150–720V) for compatibility with high-voltage battery systems, and offers powerful backup capabilities with up to 16,000 VA peak power output. Protection includes integrated PV insulation detection, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection, anti-islanding, and optional AFCI 3.0 functionality for enhanced safety.
Wall-mounted with natural convection cooling, the inverter operates silently at under 30 dB. It communicates via RS485, CAN, WiFi, LAN, and Bluetooth, with IP66 ingress rating and a compact footprint of 496 × 460 × 221 mm, weighing 23 kg.
