Description
The GoodWe GW5000N-EH-BE-2 is a single-phase hybrid inverter rated at 5kW nominal output power, designed for residential PV systems with battery storage integration. It features 2 MPPT trackers with dual DC input strings, a high-voltage battery input (85–460V nominal 350V), and supports up to 25A continuous charging and discharging. The inverter achieves 97.6% maximum efficiency and 97.0% European efficiency, with advanced battery-to-AC conversion at 96.6%.
The unit operates with natural convection cooling (fanless design) and includes comprehensive protection: PV string current monitoring, PV insulation detection, residual current monitoring, reverse polarity protection for both PV and battery, anti-islanding, AC overcurrent and short-circuit protection, and Type II DC and Type III AC surge protection. UPS-level backup switching is below 10ms, enabling reliable power supply during grid outages.
Communication options include RS485 and CAN for battery management system integration, plus WiFi/Ethernet (optional) for portal connectivity. The inverter is wall-mounted, IP65-rated, operates in temperatures from −25 to +60°C, and includes an integrated DC switch. Compatible with high-voltage batteries including GoodWe Lynx Home F and BYD HVS/HVM series.
