GoodWe GW3.6K-DNS-G40 3.6kW Single-Phase String Inverter

The GoodWe GW3.6K-DNS-G40 is a fourth-generation single-phase string inverter with dual MPPTs designed for residential solar installations. It delivers 3.6 kW nominal output power with 98.1% peak efficiency and European efficiency of 97.2%. The inverter supports up to 200% PV oversizing with a maximum input voltage of 600V and 20A per string, offering excellent compatibility with modern high-power PV modules.

Notable features include quiet operation at 25 dB, IP66 protection rating for indoor and outdoor installation, and integrated safety protections including Type II surge protection on both AC and DC sides. Optional features include AI-driven Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) 3.0 and built-in Rapid Shutdown 2.0 transmitter. The inverter weighs 9.2 kg and measures 358 × 323 × 165 mm, making it 30% lighter than comparable models for easier installation.

Communication options include RS485, WiFi, LAN, Bluetooth, and 4G via integrated protocols (Modbus, Sunspec). The DNS G4 series supports easy system expansion and paralleling via the EzLink3000 smart dongle, eliminating the need for a traditional datalogger. Operating temperature range is −25 to +60 °C with self-consumption at night below 1W.
