ValkSolarFix is a mechanical anchoring system from Van der Valk Solar Systems for fixing solar modules and PV mounting systems to a roof, as an alternative to ballast. It is intended for higher buildings, areas with high wind loads, and roof constructions that allow only minimal roof loads.
The ValkSolarFix body is made from aluminium. It mounts on roofs with a wood or steel plate construction using special screws or a toggle anchor, and a concrete anchor is used for concrete roof constructions. The length of the screws or anchors is selected based on the thickness of the roof insulation.
