The Sync Energy EVWC2S7GG is a smart Mode 3 EV charger designed for efficient residential and light commercial charging of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 connection. This model features a Type 2 socket with auto-lock, providing a flexible solution for users who prefer to connect their own charging cable.

Delivering up to 7.4kW from a 220-240V single-phase supply, the charger offers configurable charging current from 6A to 32A. Smart functionality is managed through the Sync Energy App, with Wi-Fi, LAN and 4G connectivity, OCPP 1.6J support, over-the-air updates, Auto Solar Charging and Tariff Sense energy management functionality.

The EVWC2S7GG includes integrated safety and installation features such as built-in PEN fault protection with earth disconnection, integrated 30mA Type A RCD protection with 6mA DC detection, overload and fault protection, and a supplied load management kit. Its UV-stabilised polycarbonate enclosure is rated IP65 and IK10, making it suitable for reliable indoor and outdoor installations.
