Solis S6-GC80K Three Phase Grid-Tied Inverter 80 kW AFCI

The Solis S6-GC80K is a three-phase transformerless grid-tied inverter rated at 80 kW with a maximum efficiency of 98.7%. It features 8 MPPT trackers with 16 input strings, supporting string currents up to 21 A and a maximum DC input voltage of 1100 V. The inverter includes integrated AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection to proactively reduce fire risk.

Built with IP66 ingress protection and intelligent fan-cooling, the S6-GC80K operates reliably across ambient temperatures from -30 to +60°C. Key safety features include DC reverse-polarity protection, short-circuit protection, anti-islanding functionality, and optional PID recovery. The inverter supports multiple communication protocols including RS485, with optional Wi-Fi, GPRS, and PLC integration for remote monitoring and firmware updates.

Designed for large bifacial PV systems, the S6-GC80K accommodates an oversized DC array (>150% DC/AC ratio) and supports Y-connectors on the DC side. The unit weighs 93 kg and measures 1014 × 567 × 345 mm, with output capable of 3/N/PE 220V/380V or 230V/400V configurations at 50 Hz or 60 Hz grid frequencies.
