The Pylontech US5000 is a residential battery energy storage system (BESS) module with 4.8 kWh nominal capacity at 48 Vdc. Rack-mounted design with compact dimensions (442 × 420 × 161 mm) and natural cooling, rated for >6,000 cycles at 25°C with a 15+ year design life.
Features self-developed BMS with multi-protection safety, RS485/CAN communication, and IP20 enclosure rating. Suitable for up to 16 modules per string and compatible with Tier 1 inverter brands. Supports peak shaving, load shifting, and self-consumption optimization for residential grid independence.
Includes unit-to-unit interconnection cables. Operates in charge mode 0–50°C and discharge mode −10–50°C. Supports 80 A recommended and 100 A max continuous discharge current (within 10–40°C cell temperature range).
