The Masterplug EVCM221005G/EU-MP is a portable Mode 2 EV charger designed for convenient charging of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids from a standard EU Schuko socket. This model features a 5m Type 2 charging cable, making it a practical solution for occasional charging at home, travelling or locations where a dedicated wall charger is not available.

The charger operates on a 220-240V single-phase supply and provides configurable charging current settings of 6A, 8A and 10A, with charging power up to 2.3kW. The integrated control box includes an LCD charging status display, allowing the user to monitor key charging information such as current, voltage, temperature, energy delivered and connection time.

Built for safe and reliable use, the EVCM221005G/EU-MP includes integrated protection against short-circuit, overheating and overload. The control box is weather-resistant, rated IP66 when connected, IP55 when not in use and IP65 when the end cap is fitted. Its robust UV-resistant polycarbonate construction provides durability for regular indoor and outdoor use.
