EcoFlow OCEAN 2 Hybrid Inverter 6kW Three-Phase

The EcoFlow OCEAN 2 is a three-phase hybrid inverter rated at 6 kW AC output, designed for grid-connected and off-grid solar energy systems with battery storage capability. It features three independent MPPT trackers with up to 8 kW input power per tracker, supporting a maximum total PV input of 12 kW. The inverter achieves 97.8% maximum efficiency and operates across 50/60 Hz grids with support for TN-S, TN-C, TN-C-S, and TT system configurations.

The inverter integrates seamlessly with EcoFlow battery modules via CAN communication, supporting up to 12 battery modules in the 800 V voltage band. It provides instant grid-to-off-grid and off-grid-to-grid switching with 0 ms transfer time under specified conditions, making it ideal for applications requiring backup power and energy independence. Up to 5 inverters can be cascaded for larger on-grid installations or up to 2 for off-grid systems.

Housed in an IP66-rated enclosure with outdoor/indoor suitability, the 36.5 kg inverter includes comprehensive protection: GFCI/AFCI, anti-islanding, PV insulation detection, Type II DC and AC surge protection, and thermal runaway safeguards. It communicates via Bluetooth, WiFi, RS485, and CAN, with LED and mobile app control interfaces.
