The APsystems ELS-5K is a single-phase AC-coupled battery inverter designed for residential energy storage systems. It connects to 48V low-voltage battery systems and features integrated energy management with automatic switching between backup, self-consumption, and time-of-use modes. Nominal output power is 5000VA with peak backup capacity reaching 7500VA.
The inverter achieves maximum efficiency of 96.5% and includes wireless connectivity (WIFI, Ethernet, RS485, CAN) for system monitoring and control. It operates across a wide temperature range and features natural ventilation with no external fans required. The IP65-rated enclosure is suitable for indoor wall-mounted installation.
Designed for AC coupling with residential PV systems, the ELS-5K supports automatic battery management system (BMS) integration for Li-Ion batteries and enables energy optimization during grid disturbances and peak demand periods.
