Enphase IQ System Controller 3 INT with 4G-LTE Modem and 5-Year Data Plan

The Enphase IQ System Controller 3 INT is a microgrid interconnect device (MID) that connects residential and light commercial homes to the public electricity grid, the IQ Battery 5P storage system, and IQ7 or IQ8 Series Microinverter circuits. It provides automatic transfer switch (ATS) functionality, automatically detecting and transitioning the home energy system from grid power to backup power in the event of a grid outage.

This unit consolidates interconnection equipment, IQ Gateway Metered, and IQ Relay functionality into a single IP55-rated outdoor polycarbonate enclosure. It features pre-wired current transformers (CTs) on PV and grid terminals, integrated Production and Consumption CTs, and supports both three-phase and single-phase configurations. The on-grid to off-grid transition time is less than 120 milliseconds. Maximum continuous current rating is 80 A per phase.

The package includes the System Controller unit, a System Shutdown Switch for safe servicing, an Enphase Mobile Connect cellular modem (CELLMODEM-M1-06-AT-05) with a 5-year data plan for backup internet connectivity, and a Quick Install Guide with circuit breaker filler plates and wiring kit. The IQ System Controller carries a 10-year limited warranty.
