Dyness DL5.0C WiFi stick
The Dyness DL5.0C Wi-Fi stick is a Wi-Fi logger module for the Dyness DL5.0C battery. It connects to the battery's USB port and lets the battery's data be monitored through the Dyness Smart Pro app. The module supports 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, with SmartConfig setup for Android and iOS devices and an external IPEX FPC antenna. Its serial port uses a 4-pin interface (5V, RXD, TXD, GND).
Front-panel COM, NET and STAT indicators show the status of the link to the battery, the router and the remote server. Setup involves creating a plant and adding the collector by serial number in the app or web portal, then pressing the reset button to start network configuration. The manual specifies an operating voltage of 4.5 to 5.5 V and an operating temperature range of -20 to +85 °C, and calls for indoor installation away from direct sun, dust and corrosive gas.
The manual lists CE and FCC certification and asks that the module not be put in water or fire, not be dismantled, and be recycled through a professional recycler at end of life. The module is for use only with compatible Dyness batteries, and the manual advises against mixing batteries of different manufacturers, types or ages.
