Solis S5-GR3P8K Three-Phase Inverter 8 kW

The Solis S5-GR3P8K is a three-phase grid-tied inverter designed for residential and small commercial PV systems. It delivers a rated output power of 8 kW with a maximum apparent power of 8.8 kVA and achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.5%. The inverter accommodates a recommended maximum PV power of 12 kW with two independent MPPT trackers and supports string currents up to 16 A per input.

Key features include integrated AFCI (DC arc-fault circuit) protection for enhanced fire safety, automatic voltage stabilization technology for operation in weak grid conditions, and support for multiple communication protocols (RS485, optional WiFi and GPRS). The inverter is IP66-rated with a compact transformerless design, natural convection cooling, and weighs 17.8 kg.

Compliant with major grid connection standards including G98/G99, VDE-AR-N 4105, and EN 50549-1, the S5-GR3P8K is suitable for 50 Hz and 60 Hz grids with rated voltages of 220 V / 380 V or 230 V / 400 V three-phase configurations.
