Description
The Solis S5-EH1P3.6K-L is a single-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential PV and battery systems. It delivers 3.6 kW rated output power with 4 kVA maximum apparent power, featuring dual MPPT input (2 MPPTs, 2 inputs) for flexible array configuration. The inverter switches to backup mode in less than 20 ms, providing 5 kW backup capacity to support critical loads during grid outages.
Key technical features include integrated AFCI (arc-fault circuit protection) technology to reduce fire risk, a fanless natural convection cooling design for quiet operation, and IP65 ingress protection. The unit supports both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries (42–58 V range, 50–2000 Ah capacity) and includes battery management with configurable SOC thresholds. Communication options comprise RS485 (standard) plus optional Wi-Fi and GPRS for remote monitoring and control.
The inverter complies with multiple grid standards (G98, G99, VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1, CEI 0-21, C10/11, NRS 097-2-1, and others) and carries a 5-year standard warranty (extendable to 20 years). Operating temperature range is −25 °C to +60 °C, with a maximum altitude of 3000 m.
