Growatt - PV Extension Cable

Growatt PV Extension Cable

This Growatt PV extension cable is specifically designed to increase the length of DC cables in solar energy installations, providing installers with greater flexibility in positioning solar panels relative to the inverter. The cable ensures a reliable and secure connection within photovoltaic systems.

Key Advantages

• Flexible Installation: Enables optimal positioning of solar panels, even at greater distances from the inverter, thus increasing design freedom.
• High Compatibility: The cable is designed to work seamlessly with Growatt inverters and features standard MC4 connectors (or similar, depending on the specific Growatt standard), guaranteeing compatibility with most solar panels.
• Durable and Weather-Resistant: Manufactured from high-quality materials resistant to extreme weather conditions, UV radiation, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring a long outdoor service life.
• Secure Connection: The connectors provide a robust and waterproof connection, minimising energy loss and preventing risks such as short circuits or earth faults.
• Simple Installation: The plug-and-play design of the cable and connectors simplifies installation, saving time and reducing the likelihood of installation errors.

Applications

The Growatt PV extension cable is suitable for various solar energy projects, ranging from residential rooftop installations to commercial and industrial projects where additional length for DC cabling is required. This product offers a solution in situations where the standard cables of solar panels or inverters have insufficient reach.

Warranty and Durability

The Growatt PV extension cable is designed for long-term use and complies with industry standards for durability and safety. Specific technical details regarding IP rating and warranty are dependent on the exact model and length of the cable and should be consulted in the product datasheet.
