Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus SC 8.0 Three-Phase Inverter

The Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus SC 8.0 is a three-phase hybrid inverter rated at 8 kW AC output with integrated battery connection capability and dual backup power options. It features two MPPT trackers with three DC inputs, IP66 protection class, active cooling technology, and operates at DC input voltage ranges of 80–1,000 V with a maximum efficiency of 98.2%.

This inverter supports two backup power modes: PV Point (basic backup supplying 3 kVA to a single-phase socket) and Full Backup (supplying up to 8 kVA to the entire home when connected to a compatible battery system). The unit includes integrated arc detection (Arc Guard), DC isolation measurement, and reverse polarity protection, with AFCI and DC SPD2 protection devices.

Communication is handled via integrated WLAN and dual Ethernet LAN interfaces supporting Fronius Solar.web, Modbus TCP SunSpec, and the Fronius Solar API (JSON). The inverter is compatible with Fronius Reserva, BYD Battery-Box HVS/HVM series, HVS+/HVM+, and LG FLEX batteries. Designed for indoor and outdoor installation, it operates across ambient temperatures from −25 °C to +60 °C with noise emissions below 47 dB(A).
