Xemex Smart A1/P1 Connect Smart Meter Interface Module

The Xemex Smart A1/P1 Connect is a compact interface module that reads smart meter data via the P1/A1 port and converts it into Modbus TCP or MQTT protocol. It connects directly to the smart meter's P1/A1 port using the included RJ12 cable and is powered by the meter itself, with optional USB-C power input.

The module supports DSMR 4.2, SMR 5.0, and E-MUCS standards for both single-phase and three-phase meters in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is compatible with multiple brands including Peblar, Mennekes, Schneider, and various battery manufacturers, making it suitable for energy management, dynamic load balancing, and integration with monitoring platforms.

Housed in an IP22-rated enclosure with dimensions of 25 × 50 × 70 mm, the module operates reliably in temperatures from 0–50°C. It features multicolor LED status indicators and a button for network reconnection and factory reset. Configuration is managed via a web interface with customizable Modbus TCP memory maps and MQTT broker settings.
