Huawei MERC-1100W-P Smart Module Controller Optimizer

The Huawei MERC-1100W-P is a smart module-level power optimizer designed for Huawei inverter systems. It delivers module-level optimization to increase system energy yield by 5% to 30%, with maximum efficiency of 99.5% and weighted efficiency of 99.0%. The optimizer features active safety through safe voltage shutdown (1 V output when disconnected) to ensure firefighting and maintenance safety.

Rated for 1100 W input power with MPPT operating voltage range of 12.5–105 V, the device supports maximum output voltage of 80 V and current of 22 A. It connects via Stäubli MC4 connectors and includes integrated DC cables (0.1 m input, 5.1 m negative / 0.1 m positive output in the short input cable version). Compatible with SUN2000 series inverters (8–50 kW).

The compact unit (149 × 104 × 49 mm, 1.0 kg) is IP68-rated and operates across –40°C to +85°C. Smart O&M capability enables pinpointing of open-circuit faults for quick troubleshooting. Long string design minimizes balance-of-system costs.
