GoodWe GW20K-SDT-30 20kW Three-Phase String Inverter

The GoodWe GW20K-SDT-30 is a three-phase string inverter rated at 20 kW nominal output power, designed for high-power PV rooftop installations in residential and small commercial applications. Part of the SDT G3 series, it features 2 independent MPPT trackers with a maximum input voltage of 1100 V DC and supports up to 22 A per string. The inverter achieves a maximum efficiency of 98.5% and European efficiency of 98.2%.

The unit provides enhanced safety with integrated protections including PV string current monitoring, insulation resistance detection, residual current monitoring, PV reverse polarity protection, and anti-islanding. Optional Type II surge protection is available on both AC and DC sides, along with optional AFCI 3.0 functionality. Smart energy management capabilities include load control and 24-hour load consumption monitoring.

Built for silent, reliable operation with natural convection cooling (8–10 kW models) or smart fan cooling (12–20 kW models), the GW20K-SDT-30 features a compact design measuring 530 × 413 × 227 mm and weighing 17.1 kg. It supports multiple communication options including RS485, Wi-Fi, LAN, 4G, and optional Bluetooth, with IP66 ingress protection rating and operation in temperatures from −30 °C to +60 °C.
