The Fronius Verto 17.5 Plus is a three-phase hybrid inverter designed for small businesses, agricultural applications, and apartment buildings. It combines 17.5 kW rated AC power with three independent MPPT trackers, wide voltage range (150–870 V), and integrated backup capability when paired with compatible battery systems and grid switchover components.

Key features include Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (Arc Guard) protection, DC surge protection (Type 1+2), integrated Dynamic Peak Manager for optimal performance under partial shading, and full backup functionality delivering up to 17.5 kVA three-phase emergency power. The inverter supports flexible battery connection via Stäubli MC4 Evo Stor connectors and includes open interfaces (WLAN, Ethernet, Modbus TCP) for integration with energy management systems and third-party components such as EV charging stations and load controllers.

Built for IP66 outdoor and indoor installation with regulated air cooling, the unit operates reliably across temperatures from −25 °C to +60 °C. European efficiency reaches 97.54 %, with maximum efficiency of 98.06 %.
