Fox ESS PQ1-3.7 3.7 kW Hybrid Inverter

The Fox ESS PQ1-3.7 is a single-phase all-in-one hybrid inverter with a rated AC output of 3.68 kW. It is part of a modular energy storage system that connects to solar PV installations and pairs with EQ5000-S battery modules: 2 to 6 modules provide 9.84 kWh to 29.52 kWh of storage.

The unit has two MPPT inputs with an MPPT voltage range of 80 to 550 V and a maximum PV input power of 13.7 kW. It supports up to 200% PV oversizing. Its stated efficiency is 97.6%, and its enclosure is rated IP66. The built-in 63 A bypass has a switch time of 4 ms for backup power during grid outages.

The PQ1 is monitored through the FoxCloud V2.0 app or web portal. Per the manufacturer's PQ1 announcement, the range includes an integrated LCD touchscreen and built-in WiFi and LAN connectivity.
