Enphase Q Relay Single-Phase Network System Relay Controller

The Enphase Q Relay is a single-phase network system relay controller designed for use with Enphase Microinverter installations. It acts as a physical disconnection device that monitors grid voltage and frequency, automatically disconnecting the microinverters from the AC grid during specified grid abnormalities and reconnecting when normal operating conditions resume.

The Q Relay features two single-pole, single-throw contacts (L1 and N) rated for 4.8 kVA output at 230–240 Vrms and 20 A typical. It mounts directly on a standard 35 mm DIN rail and communicates with the Envoy-S gateway to coordinate line and neutral disconnection as required by grid codes. The device includes voltage and frequency ride-through capability, remote upgrade functionality, and dual red/green status LEDs.

Operating range is 85–270 Vrms supply with nominal 50 Hz input frequency. The relay automatically resets when voltage and frequency return to acceptable levels, making it a reliable safety component for single-phase PV systems. Warranty period is 5 years.
