Overview

The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS is a modular lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery system for residential and commercial energy storage. Modules stack to form towers from 4 kWh to 24 kWh, with multiple towers connectable in parallel for systems up to 256 kWh.

Applications

Designed for solar self-consumption, time-of-use optimisation, and backup power applications. The cobalt-free LFP cell chemistry offers superior safety, longevity (over 6000 cycles), and environmental credentials compared to other lithium chemistries.

How to use it

Install on a flat surface in a dry, sheltered location. Stack modules on the PDU base, then top with the BMU. Wire DC outputs to a compatible hybrid inverter. Commission via the BYD Be Connect app following the manual.
