The product includes a 15-year product warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, and a 15-year performance warranty guaranteeing retention of at least 70% usable energy or achievement of minimum throughput energy thresholds specific to each model.

Operation requires a BYD-certified inverter specified in the Battery-Box HVB Compatible Inverter List, and the battery must be installed within one month from the warranty start date and not left idle for periods exceeding 6 months.
