New techniques

Many new types of solar panels are currently being produced. This has to do with cells that are larger or other cell technology that is applied that allows you to achieve higher returns.

Because larger cells are being used, various factories have to participate in this renewal of their production lines, so that older products are offered at lower prices.

You also see a number of new manufacturers emerging, such as Jolywood. Jolywood is a manufacturer that uses N-type cells, with these cells you can make higher power solar panels.

N-type solar cells

N-type solar cells are better than P-type, but they are still a minority of what is on the market. Of course, that's due to cost: It's more expensive and a bit more complicated to make N-type solar cells. Well-known N-type manufacturers are LG-Solar, Sunpower and, for example, Panasonic.

However, manufacturers such as Jolywood are not sitting still and can now produce the same solar panels as LG solar, for example, but for a much more attractive price. Jolywood solar panels will soon be available from us.
