Overview

The BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged, preventing damage from deep discharge and ensuring sufficient power remains for critical functions like engine starting. It can also be controlled remotely or as part of a Victron Lithium battery system to enforce safe disconnect.

Applications

Used in marine, automotive, and off-grid solar installations to protect both the batteries and downstream electronics. The Smart variants add Bluetooth for in-app configuration of disconnect/reconnect thresholds and timing.

How to use it
