Fronius Smart Meter 63A-3 Bidirectional Energy Meter

The Fronius Smart Meter 63A-3 is a bidirectional, intelligent electricity meter for three-phase photovoltaic systems. It accurately measures energy flows from and to the grid, providing the real-time data needed for system optimization and efficient energy management.

Designed for residential and commercial installations, the meter features Modbus RTU communication for fast, reliable data transmission to compatible Fronius inverters and monitoring systems such as Fronius Solar.web. With accuracy class 1 and Class B active energy accuracy (EN 50470), it enables precise measurement and remote power limitation capabilities.

The unit mounts indoors on a DIN rail in a compact 4-module housing (89.0 × 71.2 × 65.6 mm) and operates across a nominal voltage range of 230–400 V with a maximum current capacity of 3 × 63 A. It is compatible with Fronius Symo Gen 24 Plus SC, Primo Gen24 Plus SC, Verto Plus, Eco, and Datamanager 2.0 systems.
