Carlo Gavazzi CTA 5X 250A/5A Split Core Current Transformer

Split core current transformer with compact dimensions, designed for retrofit applications and combination with energy meters that have 5 A current inputs. Rated for primary current of 250 A with 5 A secondary output, featuring a 24 mm hole diameter and Class 1 accuracy per EN 61869-2.

The transformer includes a 1 meter UL R/C cable (16 AWG, 1.3 mm²) and operates across residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Fast installation via the opening/closing mechanism eliminates the need to disconnect existing cables during installation. Material: PA66, IP20 protection degree.

Three current transformers are required per energy meter for three-phase measurement. Operates from −20 °C to +65 °C with a burden of 1 VA.
