Search4Solar is a Dutch company that offers a platform for Europe to compare and purchase solar energy products from leading distributors and manufacturers.
The challenge
There are several suppliers of solar panels, renowned distributors and/or manufacturers in Europe who offer their products. Due to the increasing demand and the sometimes limited availability of solar panels or inverters, Search4solar offers a platform to compare prices and bundle availability, so that installers can purchase solar energy products at the right price.
The solution for the installer
Our experience is that solar panels are offered for different prices even though they are the same brand. In addition, availability is often unclear.
We have come up with a solution for the installer to easily gain insight into the stocks of the various brands of solar panels and the associated price.
So there is no need to request quotes from different distributors and manufacturers; The installer has a complete overview at a glance.

With more than 10 years of experience, we can accurately assess which products are suitable for the market. We therefore only work with distributors and manufacturers who have an excellent track record. We regularly make analyzes of how manufacturers and distributors are doing in limiting the risk of purchasing solar panels.
Cost
A simple registration on the platform is required to view all products and the associated price. Anyone with a solar energy company can register on Search4solar.
All that is required from you is a valid email address and a password that you can choose freely. Our registration process does not require any credit card or other information. We will send you an email with a verification link. Once you confirm the email address, you are ready to log in and view the offer.
Buying products is easy.
In short: Select a product. Start a request and enter the quantity and delivery details. Buy the product, pay and receive the goods according to the indicated delivery time.
How does it work?
All products are displayed in a table overview. Initiating an inquiry starts the purchasing process and is not binding on any party. Choose a delivery address or add a new address for your project location. If you have a specific question, you can enter it. The question is automatically forwarded to the supplier. After you submit your application, you and the seller will receive an email confirmation and you will be forwarded to the applicant.
3 steps to a successful transaction
Both buyer and seller have insight into the phase you are in according to the graphic representation. You don't have to worry about getting lost somewhere in the transaction. You can always contact the seller if you have any questions. For this purpose we built the Search4solar messaging system. You can enter a message and send it to your counterparty at any time. Your trading partner will be notified immediately by email. Usually sellers respond in a timely manner during business hours.
Purchase
The seller will be notified immediately by email when you have made a decision. It is now up to the seller to confirm the transaction. Once the transaction has been confirmed by the seller, you will receive an email. The invoices are uploaded into the system. The confirmation process normally happens within minutes or hours. A purchase is binding on both parties once buyer and seller have confirmed.
Closing
Search4solar has been developed to bring buyers and sellers together, so that buyers can purchase solar energy products cost-efficiently. The seller has to promote his products with minimal effort. A win-win situation for both parties, where users of solar energy benefit.
