Terms and Conditions

These are our general terms and conditions. These, together with the references they contain, apply to any agreement we enter into with you.

We have the right to change these general terms and conditions. You agree that the latest version of these general terms and conditions will always apply to our agreement.

Article 1 - Products

We sell solar panels, inverters and other sustainable products. These products are purchased through manufacturers or distributors, where the manufacturer's warranty conditions apply.

Article 2 - Registration

You must register to order a product. You must provide us with your personal information for this. You must fill in this personal information truthfully and it must be up to date. We protect your personal data well; see also our Privacy Statement on our website. Use a strong password for your account and never give your password to others. You are responsible for any misuse of your account (for example: if someone else places an order with us using your password).

Article 3 - Payments

The (total) price of the products is indicated in our webshop. You can pay in our webshop via various solutions and possibly on account if your creditworthiness is positive.
The shipping costs are at your expense or are free for certain volumes

Article 4 - Deliveries

We deliver your product to the address you specified when ordering. You cannot change the address if we have already sent the package. logistics service provider takes care of distribution. We do our best to deliver the order as quickly as possible. If the order is delayed, we will notify you in writing. We guarantee that you will receive the order no later than 30 days after order confirmation. If this is unexpectedly not possible, you can request us to (a) immediately refund the amount you paid for the product, or (b) send a replacement product (of equal value).

Article 5 - Returns

You may always return the product within 14 days after you have received it. You can do this with the return form or by sending an email to sales@search4solar.com. After you have received confirmation from us, you must send the product within 14 days. Once we have received the product, we will refund the full purchase amount within 7 days. The costs for return shipping are at your expense. During the period you have to decide whether you want to keep the product, you must handle the product and its packaging with care. You may only unpack and use the product to the extent necessary to determine whether you want to keep the product. products that have been special ordered cannot be returned.

Article 6 - Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by the use of a product. This does not apply if the damage was caused by our intent, gross negligence or deliberate recklessness. Your right to compensation will in any case not exceed the amount of the ordered and paid product.

Article 7 - Privacy Policy

We protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can consult our Privacy Policy for more information.

Article 8 - Intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights (such as: copyrights, logos, word marks) on our texts, photos, images and other materials are our property (or we manage them with the permission of the rights holder). Your use must not infringe this.

Article 9 - Complaints procedure

If you have a complaint about the execution of the agreement, we would like to hear from you. Please send your complaint as quickly as possible (and describe it as completely as possible) to sales@search4solar.com. We will handle your complaint as quickly as possible, no later than within 7 days after we have received your complaint. If it takes longer to settle the complaint, you will receive confirmation of your complaint within 2 days and we will let you know when we expect a substantive answer. If we cannot resolve the complaint mutually, a dispute will arise that falls under the dispute settlement procedure.

Article 10 - Dispute settlement

  1. Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions and the agreements we conclude with you. In the event of a dispute, the court in Rotterdam has jurisdiction.
